It was crispy and cool this morning as we blessed our Waimanalo Beach community with lots of groceries, miscellaneous goodies, and the love of God in our hearts! What a blessing to have so many from our New Hope Kailua family to help out today!
Making new friends with the new year!
Our houseless friends at Waimanalo Beach Park were glad to see the groceries we brought this month and we saw some new faces. So pleased to work with New Hope Kailua and volunteers from the congregation to continue serving this community! We want to continue meeting their physical needs and giving their spirits the hope of Jesus!
Blessed with the rains, blessed with the food!
Pretty hard rain this morning at Waimanalo Beach, but the people were grateful for the groceries! A big shout out to our faithful crew from New Hope Kailua who braved the storm with us!
Partnering with New Hope Kailua Church
We are pleased that Pastor Rick Stinton and New Hope Kailua Church have partnered with us to serve the needy at Waimanalo Beach Park. On the 2nd Saturday of each month, the event begins at 9am with volunteers bagging groceries together. Once complete, we pray over the day, the food, and the community, then distribution begins at 9:45am as we draw the houseless community along the beach and invite others from the Waimanalo community to receive our bagged groceries.
